Random photography by Charlie....

Here is some more photography taken in 2007 by Charlie.

Charlie's Black & White Photography 2007.

This is Charlie.........
Heres how Charlie put some of the pictures together. With the portrait photograph below, Charlie took several different pictures of herself, chose some which looked great together, edited each one on photoshop 7.0 and placed the three chosen pictures together. The effects are really very good.

Whilst out & about, Charlie always takes her camera's with her. Here are some images that Charlie has managed to capture whilst being out and about. Each of these images were caught around the Old part of Lincoln around the Cathedral area. In this area are some quirky shops, cobbled paths and theres much entertainment to watch. Charlie was quite enthralled by the busker she saw on this particular day & he was glad to allow Charlie to take some photographs of him for her collection.
This is Charlie with her very first camera. Her collection has grown since then & she is now enjoying experiementing with different lenses and light effects.
One thing Charlie is very good at is capturing some 'randam' items. Charlie is a very creative person and her ideas for pictures that she puts together are to be admired. At still just 15yrs of age Charlie looks set to have a secure future ahead of her in the world of photography.

Again, the photographs below show some photoshop work that Charlie has enjoyed playing around with. The top photograph shows some growing flowers and underneath shows how you can edit colours of eyes. This particular eye is Charlies own, her eye colour being very dark brown yet as you can see she has managed to turn the colour of her eye into a bright greeny-blue.

Charlie had this photograph taken during her week of work experience in photography. This picture shows you how effective light effects can be particularly in portrait photography.

About Charlie....

Charlie is 15yrs old and started out in the world of photography at just 13yrs old. Initially she used a Fujifilm Finepix S52000 Digital Camera, this was a good first camera at an affordable budget. With its 1.8" LCD screen, 5 megapixels, 10x Optical Zoom & 5.7x Digital Zoom this was an toy for Charlie to start out with. She has recently moved onto a Canon EOS 350D DSLR which has a fantastic 8 megapixels, 7 point auto focus, three frames per second shooting & a 1.8" LCD screen. With the canon she has various different lenses, the regular 18-55mm and the 75-300mm being her favourites. For fun Charlie has a very old Cosina CT-7 which is an Automatic 35mm SLR with aperture preferred TTL digital metering system. Charlie spent a week doing work experience at a local RAF photography studio where she learnt lots of new and exciting things to help her with her photography. She is now wanting to make a career in photography and has recently set herself up some volountary work taking photoshoots. She is most interested in portrait and landscape but likes to try a bit of everything. Charlie welcomes any fans of or experts in the field of photography to her blogs along with any constructive advice to help her along the way. Charlies blog will be maintained and monitered by an Adult, but Charlie is involved with choosing which of her photographs are shared on here & she will have access to this page at all times.
